Delivery Manager
Location:MELBOURNE, VIC, AU, 3008
Employment Type: Permanent Full Time
Own the delivery of high-impact data initiatives across multiple squads
Work at the centre of tech, data and business to drive change that sticks
Step beyond classic project management into a role with real scope and influence
The Opportunity to Join Our Team
We're building a stronger, more connected data capability and need a Delivery Manager to help make it happen. In this role you'll sit in our Data Enablement team, driving initiatives that improve how we manage, govern and use data across the business.
You'll oversee multiple initiatives at once (3–4 squads and streams). The role is equal parts delivery discipline, change management and stakeholder engagement, with the end goal of landing production-ready outcomes that make a difference.
What you'll do:
Lead the delivery of data initiatives end to end: planning, prioritising and executing against milestones.
Engage stakeholders across tech and business, manage expectations and keep progress transparent.
Identify and resolve risks and issues before they slow things down.
Ensure delivery meets quality standards for governance, compliance, testing and security.
Coordinate squads and vendors to land initiatives on time and within budget.
Improve delivery processes by applying Agile and Lean ways of working.
Support resource allocation and financial planning.
What You Bring to This Role
You'll be an experienced delivery professional who combines strong technical understanding with the ability to manage stakeholders, risks and change under pressure. Key experience needed for this role includes:
Deep technology delivery experience leading complex initiatives.
The ability to hold your ground under pressure, negotiate and mediate when needed.
Strong stakeholder management skills and clear communication style
Proven experience managing risk and delivery challenges.
Familiarity with Agile delivery tools such as Jira and Confluence (Atlas a plus).
A background in technology or data change (data delivery experience preferred but not essential).
Knowledge of financial services, particularly superannuation, wrap platforms or governance, is highly regarded.
Why join us?
This is a delivery role with scope and influence. You'll work across the full data agenda, not just a single program, and play a central role in how Insignia builds its data capability. Reporting into the Head of Data Enablement, you'll have visibility across the business and the chance to make delivery sharper, faster and more effective.
