You will be responsible for the Management of quality and fit standards on all product categories across the whole range, ensuring adherence to these standards by our suppliers, and management of external testing houses. You will be the key interface for Supplier Compliance including management and scheduling of factory audits as required, follow up of Supplier Agreements and Codes of Conduct ensuring all documentation is up to date.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work closely with the Production Manager, Design & Technical teams to ensure all fabric and yarn developments meet required quality standards.
- Monitoring of testing standards, including review of existing standards and updating as required.
- Liaise with external testing houses to ensure consistency across suppliers and on time delivery of all test reports as required.
- Monitoring of all relevant Australian Standards and any relevant International Standards as required across product categories.
- Ensure the use of fit for purpose ‘Care’ labelling across all categories.
- Management of in-house wear testing as required.
- Liaise with Head of Product and Production and Production Manager to ensure all required BSR programs are managed seasonally.
- Accountable for the consistency of Fabric, Colour and Performance on all BSR styles and orders, across the supply chain.
- Management of BSR samples and archiving of these across deliveries and seasons.
- Work with the Production Manager on cross costing exercises as required on BSR styles ensuring new suppliers are briefed with full technical packs and all required standards.
- Work closely with Production Manager, Design & Technical teams to ensure ranges meet technical requirements across fabric performance and fit.
- Work closely with the Product Development team to ensure Technologist/s are able to complete specifications and all labelling to the required standards.
- Work closely with the Product Development Team on development of wash standards ensuring oversight of quality and performance. standards are maintained, whilst supporting the seasonal design trend
- Working collaboratively with the Garment Technologists to ensure the best fit, construction methods and new technologies are used within the supply base that will enhance fit and/or product construction methods.
- Working closely with the Suppliers, Garment Technicians and Product Developers to problem solve and support meeting product briefs and required quality and fit standards.

**You will have**:

- A solid background working for a retailer in a similar role.
- Relevant tertiary or related qualifications are preferred
- A minimum 5 years experience in an equivalent QA/QC role with a fashion apparel retailer
- Extensive apparel knowledge across multiple product categories
- Extensive menswear knowledge across multiple product categories
- Demonstrated ability to manage and improve quality and product performance across multiple apparel product categories.
- Experience in dealing with off shore vendors in multiple countries
- An understanding of fashion retail as a commercial business
