Brisbane Private Hospital is seeking a dynamic Medical Administrator to join our Administration team on a casual basis. The successful applicant will be highly motivated, committed to a high standard of customer focused care, excellent time management and organisational skills. **About the roles**:
This opportunity will see you join our team as an all-rounder to assist where required, your duties will vary day to day and may include:

- Maintain accurate and effective record management systems including preparation of medical records
- Coordinate with staff from other departments
- Complete other clerical tasks such as data entry
- Answer and redirect calls

Brisbane Private Hospital specialises in Neurosurgery, Orthopaedics, Spinal, ENT, Pain and Rehabilitation with additional specialties including Plastics, Urology, General Surgery, Gynaecology and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Brisbane Private Hospital also delivers a leading private drug and alcohol program, Damascus Health Services, from its dedicated drug and alcohol rehabilitation unit.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Previous medical reception/administration experience
- Prior experience in the health industry
- Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate initiative
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Experience in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Flexible to work a variety of shifts - early/late shifts
- Experience working with patient management system (Desirable)
