We look after the reservations, events, administration and more for three well regarded and busy Italian restaurants

1. Ormeggio at The Spit (Informal fine dining, two hats)

2. Chiosco by Ormeggio (a more casual Italian seaside trattoria).

3. a’Mare (a sophisticated and elegant fine dining focused on tableside service, two hats)

We are looking for a part time Administration and Marketing person to work in our office based at Allambie on the Northern Beaches, close to Warringah Mall, and to assist in a range of different activities. The position would suit a student looking to gain work experience to complement their studies ideally in marketing, public relations or communication/media, or an experienced marketing person looking to return to the industry part time.

This position is varied and will enable you to work across the three venues with a range of tasks including managing creative, online and offline marketing, social media, copywriting and public relations activities.

Developing and working on marketing strategy across channels such as social media, EDMs, internal activities, event calendars and more.

You will also support the office and management teams with a range of tasks in areas including customer service and switchboard management, office and business administration and reservations. (If there is a particular area of interest to you we are supportive of encouraging your growth and learning in that area.) We are a family owned and run small business so retain a friendly, supportive and flexible team environment.

As we are, in essence, creating this role there is scope for change and development of the role and tasks, depending on the person

Applicant must have:

- Fluent and polite English - written and spoken
- Computer literacy - especially in Microsoft office, Canva (or similar), MyGuestList (or similar marketing platform)
- A love of multitasking, being organised and efficient
- Loves food and is passionate about great venues.
- A positive personality with a winning smile

Marketing Guru:

- We are looking for someone who has specifically hospitality marketing experience, and definitely graphics experience as we create the majority of our collateral inhouse.
- Someone creative and fun.
- Great eye for detail.
- Can strategise.
- Social media for business experience an absolute must.
- Ability to work autonomously and with common sense, drive and independence.
- Must be able to motivate the team to jump on board with marketing initiatives.

Someone who wants to work with a small, tight, fun team

**Applicant would be well regarded to have experience in**:
Working in a busy office environment, events or restaurant management experience

Knowledge of Italian language or cuisine

Hours:
School hours fine, no night work required. A weekend day if suits better.

It will be around 20 hours a week to start, with an opportunity to grow the role.

Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: From $51,358.02 per year
