Office Junior

Office Junior/Reservations opportunity with Restaurant group, Northern Beaches

Ormeggio at The Spit and Chiosco by Ormeggio are two successful and recognised restaurants managed in a central office in Allambie on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Due to growth we require an office junior to join our team in a part time capacity.

The position would suit a student looking to gain work experience to complement their studies, ideally in Event Management or Business Administration, or a Hospitality Worker looking to take the next step in their career.

This position is varied and will enable you to gain hands on experience working across the venues. You will support the office and management teams with a range of tasks in all areas including customer service and switchboard management, business development and marketing, function and event management, HR, accounts, office and business administration, menus and reservations. If there is a particular area of interest to you we are supportive of encouraging your growth and learning in that area.

The scope for career development is huge. There is the opportunity to complete a traineeship in business administration if that is of interest. We are a rapidly growing hospitality company so offer a huge opportunity to grow with us, although we are still family owned and operated, so retain a friendly and flexible working environment.

Hours must be flexible and do include some weekend work.

You will be trained and receive mentoring as part of the role.

(There is also the opportunity of extra hours with work on the floor)

**Requirements**:

- Permanent working visa or Australian residents only - we are interested in longevity of employment
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Literacy very important: Excellent English verbal and written skills
- Mac experience preferred but not essential
- Experience in hospitality preferred
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure with a smile
- Positive attitude, well spoken, high standard of personal presentation and calm demeanor
- Common sense and the ability to work unsupervised in a productive manner
- Desire to commit, learn and grow with the company - We want a long term relationship
- Love of food, dining out and providing fantastic experiences for the customer

**Salary**: $40,660.00 - $62,815.13 per year

- Weekend availability

- Allambie Heights, NSW 2100: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
