Collaboration Technologies Lead

A large end user is actively recruiting a Collaboration Technologies Lead to join their team. A challenging senior appointment, this role demands a dynamic leader who is able to foster end-user adoption of collaboration and productivity technology with the goal of improving workforce digital effectiveness. Combining technical and business skills with leadership acumen this role will enable the organisation to gain full value from its technology investments, with a strong focus on ensuring clear strategy, governance, awareness and engagement mechanisms are in place for relevant technologies, including but not limited to the Microsoft 365 suite.

**Key Responsibilities will include**:

- Design and deliver the forward strategy for collaboration and productivity tools and ensure socialisation with key stakeholders.
- Develop and evolve product roadmap based on stakeholder, technical engineering team and business feedback, linked to business outcomes.
- Work with technical engineering teams to ensure healthy management of Microsoft 365 and other relevant services as set out by the Head of IT, Digital Working, including deployment, migration, management, support and ongoing release cadences.
- Develop, maintain and ensure ongoing review of relevant governance frameworks, standards and policies.
- Measure and report on usage, usability and accessibility compliance. Deliver findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure that IT strategy, policy and standards are adhered to, thus achieving commonality and ease of maintenance.
- Analyse problems, action and progress issues as appropriate, ensuring follow through to resolution.
- Oversee the design and ongoing management of campaigns and communication materials used for driving adoption of selected Microsoft 365 and other related digital working products and services.
- Design and implement a training and capability uplift program for Microsoft 365.
- Identify the key business requirements and the capabilities needed to support stakeholders.
- Liaise with stakeholders and maintain business engagement to educate on the product's growth, strategic value and investment case.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of IT services and operating model.
- Maintain knowledge and skill in areas of responsibility by participating in educational opportunities such as reading relevant professional publications and maintaining professional networks.

- Proven ability and demonstrated success driving business culture and technology change in a dynamic environment.
- Extensive knowledge on the latest in workplace technology, including collaboration and productivity tools.
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity, business continuity, disaster recovery and high availability architectures.
- Proven experience developing and implementing strategic technology plans and roadmaps.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with business process and performance modelling and benchmarking.
- Strong knowledge on best practices for iterative service release and communications.
- Superior communication and presentation skills that are clear and effective, with the ability to persuade, influence and negotiate.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Agile service management experience in running feature teams with Kanban, SCRUM or other Agile methodology.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications, ideally postgraduate qualifications and relevant experience; or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through any other combination of education, training and/or experience.
