About the Role
The Education Technology Lead will advance the quality and impact of MultiLit’s professional development courses. MultiLit offers a range of courses in the format of self-paced and facilitated workshops which incorporate digital learning interactives, animations and explainer videos. Our professional development courses are aligned to our highly regarded education programs. In addition, the role also supports our higher education initiative offered by the Academy for the Science of Instruction. MultiLit professional development courses equip educators to deliver MultiLit programs as designed and to realise the intended student outcomes embedded in our programs.
MultiLit programs offer teachers a comprehensive set of evidence-based teaching resources. This role will enable the digitisation of instructional resources to be used by students alongside existing learning resources.
MultiLit’s instructional methodology is systematic and explicit, and this approach is central to the design of both student learning resources and adult professional development courses. This role is responsible for the creation of digital assets and the selection of technology solutions that align with this principle.
This role leads learning technology initiatives across our organisation and will work closely with the in-house Design Team. The role will also ensure MultiLit stays abreast of trends and innovations in the field of learning design. The Educational Technology Lead manages a small team of Learning Designers. The role is based in MultiLit’s Macquarie Park office.
About You

Experience managing others and coordinating the collective effort of a team
Ability to develop project plans and manage time and resources efficiently
Experience designing and developing online learning experiences to a high professional standard using the ADDIE framework
Experience leading the integration of technology into classroom instructional sequences
Ability to create custom digital assets for use within learning experiences using technologies such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Creative Cloud including animation and video tools
Exceptional work ethic and interpersonal skills that build rapport with colleagues
Strong attention to detail to complement superior organisational and time management skills
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Role Responsibilities
Develop an educational technology strategy aligned to MultiLit principles and priorities as well as the needs of the Professional Development & School Partnership and Product Development teams
Manage learning design and educational technology project teams on a day-to-day basis
Review current educational technology software and identify solutions that may enhance MultiLit professional development and teaching programs
Design effective learning content and activities in alignment with MultiLit methodology and best practice technology integration
Design storyboards, online templates, and processes for professional development
Develop high quality learning content using technologies including Articulate Storyline for use within the MultiLit LMS (OpenLearning)
Integrate and manage the administration of learning technology solutions
Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure effective integration of new products and services to business as usual
Review and evaluate the pedagogical effectiveness of learning solutions
Provide learning analytics reports and analysis.
