**About the role**:
The Risk Assurance Manager is responsible for assisting the business to understand its risk, compliance and control environment by undertaking assurance testing to gain insights into the effectiveness of controls. The role is responsible for providing specialist guidance and support to help the business strengthen its control environment in order to further mitigate risk. Your key responsibilities include:

- Develop and conduct testing over the effectiveness of the design and operation of internal business controls, in line with defined processes and timelines.
- Provide recommendations, agree tangible actions and provide specialist guidance to support the business to uplift processes and strengthen the control environment.
- Deliver quality reporting to the business and Risk Committees on the effectiveness of controls and the progress made to undertake strengthening activities.
- Facilitate, communicate and promote a positive risk culture across Hostplus, through capability building programs, risk workshops, forums and other internal engagements.
- Coordinate and manage the administration of internal audits to ensure effective positioning, engagement and execution of internal audit activity and associated outcomes.
- Support the effective implementation of a new Governance, Risk & Compliance tool, and actively update and use the tool for risk analysis, action management and reporting.

Please note this role could be placed in our Adelaide or Melbourne office.
