**Key responsibilities of this role include and not limited to**
- Lead organisational compliance, awareness and capability within the company framework
- Proactively identify risk exposures and non-compliance event trends by collating and reviewing information from company's databases and operational reports on a regular basis
- Lead the follow up and status of treatments and remediations to risk exposures and non-compliance events from stakeholders throughout the business including obtaining evidence of event closure on monthly basis
- Identify gaps in information; looking for logical sequences of information and highlighting practical considerations and impediments to risk management plans and assurance activities
- Proactively lead conversations regarding trends and observations from risk exposures, emerging business conditions, non-compliance events, risk indicator and assurance status information including formulating messages and recommendations back to business stakeholders including linkages to company's national corporate strategies and operational plans
- Drive the delivery of the internal audit program with the outsourced Internal Audit Provider, and coordinate the development of Executive, Board and Sub-Committee risk, compliance and assurance reports
- Develop staff training and awareness on assurance matters
- Utilise sound project management acumen to ensure effective and timely risk, compliance and assurance activities and planning.
- Be able to travel within Australia - need based

- Previous experience in leading risk management frameworks and internal audit processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills / ability to build rapport with others and engage with a wide variety of stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience managing projects
- Excellent time management skills
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
- Capacity to work independently
- A valid Working with Children Check
