**About us**
Competency Training (RTO#31299) is an industry leading training brand, owned by Verbrec, with training facilities in Brisbane (North and West), Central Queensland, Perth, and Darwin. We deliver and manage on-site training for some of the largest companies and projects throughout the world. We specialise in providing training and assessment services for the Construction, Mining & Resources, Oil & Gas, Engineering and Electrical sectors.
**About the role**
The Sales Representative will be responsible for driving the growth of the division by generating new business opportunities. Developing and implementing sales strategies and working closely with the marketing team will be key aspects of this role.
As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining relationships with current/past clients.
- Identifying and establishing new sales with potential new clients.
- Developing and reviewing proposals, tenders, contracts and negotiating price and terms.
- Sending out Quotes to clients and following up in a timely manner
- Maintaining and updating our CRM database.
- Ensuring that monthly revenue targets are met or exceeded in defined period.
- Managing successful working relationships with staff and external clients, Consulting Professionals and Business Unit Managers.

- Knowledge within Civil and Construction industry, technical training, high risk licensing, or safety courses.
- Sales drive, outstanding customer service.
- Ability to meet Monthly targets and Sales KPI’s
- Experience of business development in a training environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly motivated and solutions focus individual.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to keep abreast of changes in the Vocational Education and Training sector.
- Ability and willingness to travel.
