**About the role**:
We have a great opportunity for a Credit Officer available for someone to grow within the Officeworks finance team. As a Credit Officer, you will report to the Credit Team Leader and your role will involve support and administration of 30-day business account customers. You will be handling customer queries whilst building and maintaining customer relationships. You will also support the Officeworks Business and Sales Support Team. Some of your key tasks will include;

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensuring that all customer queries are dealt with or escalated to the appropriate team member & within the required SLAs
- Responding to escalated customer queries through our Salesforce ticketing system
- Assist with incoming customer payments to ensure that they are applied accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintenance Accounts
- Allocation of Payments and Refunds
- Build a strong rapport with the Sales Support, Sales & Credit teams

**About you**:
To succeed in this role, you will have the following:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in either a similar credit role or a finance administration role
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Effective negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to manage and resolve issues and complex accounts
- Excellent telephone manner, persistent with the ability to communicate at all levels
- A team player able to identify and resolve problems in an efficient and timely manner ensuring customer needs are satisfied within Company guidelines
- Able to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
