**About the role**:
As Platform Delivery Manager - Integration you will be fundamental in managing the collective delivery activity within the suite of Integration Platforms (Inc. Mulesoft, MessageBroker, MessageQueue and Pentaho) and across other Platforms to deliver the Platform Plan.

Working closely with the Head of Infrastructure Platforms you will plan for and deliver outcomes and manage the backlog at the Platform level, as well as identifying and managing risks, technology contract initiation and performance, platform lifecycle management and budgets management. In addition you will work with Product Owners to prioritise and refine their backlogs into meaningful missions and objectives to drive high performance and co-ordinate interdependencies between Squads that report to them.

You will have 8 direct reports within a group of 17 including onshore and offshore partners so your strong background in leading diverse teams across all areas of technology will be key for leading, motivating and inspiring your team to develop best in class capability. As a people leader you will have the ability to understand problems and guide people to get to solutions effectively.

This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in a new industry framework using the Momentum model - an evolution of Agile. As Suncorp is at the beginning of our Momentum journey you will be fundamental in helping to build this new delivery model within the Integration space.

**What you’ll do**:

- Co-ordinate delivery across all squads in a platform. This will require the balancing of time constraints, scope management, risk management and quality adherence to deliver key benefit targets. Key activities include:

- Maintain roadmap and support quarterly planning
- Innovate technology solution for customer needs
- Support work breakdown and delivery planning
- Manage team of technology specialist
- Maintain delivery plans to ensure outcomes are delivered
- Support pipeline and prioritization of all initiatives
- Responsible for maintaining delivery plan to ensure outcomes are delivered. Co-ordinate individual Squad plans into building a single Platform Plan
- Organise change work, responsible for front line engagement and accountable for user interactions
- Accountability for the asset ownership
- Status reporting and tracking from beginning to end.
- Developing a view of the risks (delivery and delivered), issues, and dependencies, including escalation as required.
- Perform Platform governance and risks
- Support financial reporting, and budget monitoring
- Support technology provider contract performance and governance
- Communicating and embodying Momentum mindsets

**What you’ll bring**:

- Proven experience leading diverse teams (including partners) across all areas of technology
- Background in infrastructure, technology or software engineering is highly desirable; knowledge of integration platforms such as Mulesoft, MessageBroker, MessageQueue or Pentaho, would be a significant advantage but is not essential
- 5+ years in Technology Management, demonstrable ability to work closely with the business including managing contracts, identifying and managing risk, lifecycle management etc
- Experienced in various project management disciplines - PMBOK, Agile etc.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement ranging from C-suite through to the project team with the ability to build successful business relationships at all levels and lead a high performing team
- Ability to manage a partnered team to achieve the optimal performance through a partnered model, managing risk, compliance and business outcomes.
- Excellent problem solving - ability to seek out information and break down problems and situations into simple lists of components.
- Experience within Financial Services would be beneficial but is not essential.
