As Platform Technology Manager – Compute, you’ll lead the design, delivery, and evolution of Suncorp’s infrastructure hosting platforms across Wintel, Midrange, and Containers. You’ll drive strategic outcomes, mentor a high‑performing team, and champion innovation and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

- Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure platforms that support enterprise‑level applications
- Drive strategic alignment between platform capabilities and business goals, ensuring compliance with Suncorp standards
- Champion Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation practices using tools like Terraform, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins
- Collaborate across teams to integrate PaaS and SaaS services, enhancing platform flexibility and performance
- Implement monitoring and feedback loops using Dynatrace and Azure Monitor to ensure proactive issue resolution
- Mentor and develop a diverse team across Sydney and Brisbane, fostering a culture of growth, learning, and innovation

What You’ll Bring

- Proven leadership experience managing large, diverse engineering teams and delivering strategic outcomes
- Deep expertise in cloud services and enterprise‑scale platform architecture
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across business and technical teams
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform and GitLab CI
- Analytical mindset with a passion for continuous learning and innovation
- Ability to manage change, prioritise initiatives, and deliver measurable business value
