As Platform Technology Manager – Compute, you'll lead the design, delivery, and evolution of Suncorp's infrastructure hosting platforms across Wintel, Midrange, and Containers. You'll drive strategic outcomes, mentor a high-performing team, and champion innovation and continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure platforms that support enterprise-level applications
  • Drive strategic alignment between platform capabilities and business goals, ensuring compliance with Suncorp standards
  • Champion Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation practices using tools like Terraform, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins
  • Collaborate across teams to integrate PaaS and SaaS services, enhancing platform flexibility and performance
  • Implement monitoring and feedback loops using Dynatrace and Azure Monitor to ensure proactive issue resolution
  • Mentor and develop a diverse team across Sydney and Brisbane, fostering a culture of growth, learning, and innovation

What You'll Bring

  • Proven leadership experience managing large, diverse engineering teams and delivering strategic outcomes
  • Deep expertise in cloud services and enterprise-scale platform architecture
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across business and technical teams
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform and GitLab CI
  • Analytical mindset with a passion for continuous learning and innovation
  • Ability to manage change, prioritise initiatives, and deliver measurable business value
