**Description Overview**:
Perrigo is the 5th largest OTC Medicinal organisation globally, with big plans in place to capitalise and expand on robust growth in our Australian business. As a result of continued growth, we created this new Key Account Manager role, managing our Independent Grocery, Convenience, Discount Department Store & Costco business and working with great brands. Our portfolio is made up with the likes of Tiger Balm, Herron, Lucas Papaw Remedies and Compeed.
As the National Key Account Manager, you’ll have the power to drive and own the execution strategy for channels and customers, develop collaborative joint business plans, advocate for the customer when helping bring innovation to market, manage short and long term financial and volume forecasting while building strong internally cross functional relationships and strong, collaborative relationships with retailers.
You will be part of the small, close knit Australian team, working for a business which is the fastest growing within OTC and with ambitious plans to double the size of the business in the next 5 years.

**Scope of the Role**:
- Account Management
- Achievement of Sales Plan, Margin targets & Customer KPI’s.
- Drive relationships with customers to understand key success factors.
- Develop and implement tactics for your customer / brand to drive sales.
- Business Management
- Support the National Business Manager (Grocery) in the development of overall channel strategy.
- Develop a business plan and identify actionable trade programs for each account.
- Strong alignment with Pharmacy team.
- Financial Management, Reporting and Administration
- Own the customer P&L and responsible for driving top and bottom-line growth.
- Responsible for the sales forecast for the total BCS Grocery business.
- Contributes to developing the annual budget.
**Experience Required**:
To be successful in this role we require:
- Minimum of 2 years Marketing / Account Management experience, preferably with a background in the Australian Consumer Goods and experience dealing with key grocery customers.
- Proven experience of growing top and bottom line within head office national grocery accounts
- Strong category analysis and evaluation skills
- Outstanding negotiation, presentation, interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Strong financial and analytical capability to measure and track relevant KPI’s.
- Experience in preparing quarterly and annual plans for each client.
- Leadership for the Category review process across multiple categories
- Ability to build strong internal and external networks quickly.
