The Comfort Group is Australia’s largest bedding & speciality foams manufacturer making premium foam and bedding products for a number of well-known brands including Sleepyhead, SleepMaker, Beautyrest, Dunlop Foam and Tattersfield just to name a few.

**The Opportunity**

This is a dual role ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their workday. You’ll be involved in both sewing and production tasks in our factory, as well as assisting customers in our retail showroom. Your responsibilities may include based on your experience:
Sewing Machinist Duties:

- Operate industrial sewing machines to manufacture mattress components
- Measure, cut, and assemble fabrics with accuracy
- Ensure quality control standards are met throughout production
- Maintain machinery and work areas in a safe, clean condition

Retail Sales Assistant Duties:

- Assist customers in selecting the right products
- Provide expert product knowledge and a friendly, supportive service experience
- Process sales transactions and manage basic stock levels
- Contribute to the overall presentation and cleanliness of the store

**About you**

The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar role. As well as:

- Experience in sewing or têxtile production is highly regarded
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- Friendly, professional manner with good communication skills
- Flexible and team-oriented attitude
