- This Administration Officer role provides direct assistance to the Business Manager and Principal and contributes across a range of school operations, including Administration Support, Communications, Governance, and when required Daily Organisation and First Aid Support.
- The preferred applicant will have:

- Strong organisational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- High level interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with staff, students, families and the community.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- An exceptional level of confidentiality in an educational context.
- Confident, efficient and effective use of digital tools and platforms e.g. Microsoft Office suite, Google apps (Docs, Sheets, Slides etc), Canva, social media tools.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Administration, Communication and Governance Support tasks include, but not limited to:

- Provide routine clerical or other administrative support responsibilities including general telephone, front office enquiries, deliveries, assisting with stock control, supporting organisation of meetings, receiving and initial processing of standard paperwork
- Maintain, enter and retrieve data from the schools IT systems, such as the school's records system, including computerised student, staff and school records
- Maintain and update office records, enrolment data, diary records, and basic written records
- Support or coordinate the preparation of standard routine internal and external communication according to school procedures
- Source basic data or factual information from given sources to support school administrative functions, e.g. books, reports, manuals, catalogues, tables, forms, etc.
- Support the first aid facilities and assists in delivering first aid to students.
- Support administration staff in their roles, to further productivity and efficiency relative to DET Policy and Governance matters.
- Support Daily Organisation Officer tasks include, but not limited to:

- Support the operations of the school under the guidance of the Executive team with the organisation of events, including coverage of yard duties.
- Allocate replacement staff as directed.
- Maintain resources to support CRTs in their role and provide resources to staff as needed.
- Orientate replacement staff.
- Adjust, publish and display timetables in shared locations and yard duty folders.
- Executive Support tasks include, but not limited to:

- Provide administrative assistance to the Principal and broader leadership team.
- Maintain confidential records and liaise with stakeholders on behalf of the Principal.
- Access and engage with shared calendars inc supporting the scheduling of meetings and the coordination of school events.
- Prepare correspondence and reports and assist with the coordination of the school council.
- Other reasonable duties as determined by the Principal.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure the provision of a range of administrative support functions for the Principal and teaching staff.
- Provide administrative support to external service providers as required.
- Manage the processing of student admissions, registrations, enrolments and transfers.
- Provide required level of administrative support for school events, functions and projects.
- Implement induction programs for new staff, volunteers and other workers to the school.
