**Procurement Officer **to become a valued member of our team in the Adelaide office for a 12 month maternity leave contract.

**The role**:
The Procurement Officer role supports the Home Care and NDIS Divisions with managing procurement and contract management activities. This role is administratively focused and highly process driven, it is responsible for ensuring all activities are completed accurately, in a timely manner and meet compliance requirements.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage all procurement requests, including obtaining quotes and raising purchase orders
- Utilise all HCA systems to manage the end-to-end procurement process and keep clear records of all communication and transactions.
- Ensure contracts are in place for all of HCA’s active contractors
- Ensure contractors are fully compliant and satisfy both legislative and audit requirements.
- Maintain clear records of all contract documentation.
- Maintain HCA’s contractor register
- Complete monthly reporting to manage procurement activities and compliance requirements.
- Deliver accurate, timely and compliant procurement and contract administration activities
- Work collaboratively with the Procurement Coordinator and Customer Care Team to ensure that customers receive an excellent customer service.
- Monitor and ensure all HCA’s active contractors meet all legislative and compliance requirement
- Maintain positive relationships with HCA’s Contractor network
**Mandatory requirement**:
- Current Police Check (or willing to obtain);
- Current WWCC (or willing to obtain);
- NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willing to obtain)
- 3 x Covid-19 Vaccination records required
**Is this you?**
- Knowledge of Commonwealth aged care funding and/or State health funded programs (desirable)
- Previous role in procurement and contract management (desirable)
- Attention to detail, strong organisational skills and a desire to provide high quality service
- A high level of communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to learn new data bases quickly
- The ability to work autonomously and as a part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- A professional approach and presentation
- Display a strong sense of reliability and commitment to their work
- Sound negotiation skills
