If you answered yes to these questions, then we have an exciting opportunity for you. My client is looking for a Procurement Officer to join their team in the western suburbs of Adelaide on a full-time basis, starting in a temporary capacity with the opportunity for permanency for a high performer.
- Facilitate the negotiation of goods and services contracts across the organisation.
- Negotiate, review and renew existing contracts to achieve the best pricing outcomes.
- Ensure purchasing requisitions are executed in a timely manner.
- Develop tender documentation in consultation with relevant stakeholders.
- Facilitate the end to end tender process.
- Purchasing requisitions are executed in a timely manner.
- Support the introduction of new suppliers to the organisation.
- Ensure that the inventory system is accurate and up to date.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Skills in contract management and supplier relationship management.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in the management of contracts within a highly regulated industry.
- Exceptional time management with a keen eye for detail.
