**The Role**:
Join us on a journey of growth and innovation as we mature our procurement capability across Australia and New Zealand As the Head of Group Procurement, you will lead a team of 2 Procurement Managers and oversee end to end procurement, and strategic sourcing processes with a strong focus on value management and supplier/customer relationship management, and utilising data and insights for competitive advantage.

Located in North Sydney, this diverse role will see you:

- Provide people leadership, strategic direction and guidance on sourcing activities
- Manage a procurement function across multiple categories
- Develop and embed Social Procurement practices (strategic supplier management and category management)
- Lead environmental and sustainable procurement outcomes, e.g. Reconciliation Action Plan and Social Procurement programs
- Enhance supplier and stakeholder engagement and relationships (including oversight of processes and standards)
- Management of Anti Modern Slavery risks within oOh’s supply chain
- Provide advice to leadership teams and partnering with the business on major projects;
- Identify and lead continuous improvement activities
- Conduct detailed data and insights analysis on suppliers, categories and spend to ensure sourcing and procurement outcomes represent the best value for money option available under market conditions
- Provide assistance and support to the Chief Financial Officer

**The Experience**:
This role would suit a motivated, self-starter and experienced Procurement Leader who is excited to join in and continue our greenfield build phase with the challenge of developing and shaping our procurement practices for future growth

As a well-rounded Head of Group Procurement, you’ll have proven capability in strategic sourcing and Category Management procurement experience across a range of large/complex industries and categories. Those categories may include corporate services, professional services, software, telecommunications, cloud services, infrastructure, asset management and minor works.

You will also have:

- Demonstrable experience in the establishment and embedment of a new function
- Strong experience managing and leading high performing procurement teams
- Advanced skills in stakeholder engagement and management, across all role levels up to and including C-Suite;
- Bring a positive, proactive and collaborative outlook as well as an ethical procurement approach and an ability to challenge the status quo
- Experience driving social and sustainable procurement practices
- Ability to use data, metrics and external market insights to drive and influence decisions.
- Expert knowledge of procurement processes, activities and market trends.
- Highly developed problem solving skills, commercial acumen and passion for delivering commercial outcomes.
- Proven financial analysis skills with a high level of numeric understanding.
