**The Company**

Our client is a well-known specialty retail and eCommerce group that has multiple brands as part of their portfolio. With product ranges that offer fashion trends at accessible price points, they have become an iconic shopping destination within Australia.

**Position Description**

Reporting into the co-CEO, this stand-alone role will be responsible for performing duties associated with management of property and procurement across the business, and for providing direction to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) in the management, development and implementation of contractual obligations, procurement strategies, accounts payable, vendor/supplies/equipment management and negotiations, and department analytical strategies.

This role also serves as a buyer of supplies, goods, equipment and services for facilities.

**Duties and Key Responsibilities**:

- Contract management and development, process improvements, bid strategies and vendor/supplier implementation
- Provide leadership and direction to the ELT and the Board, implementation and best practices regarding procurement and contractual changes and opportunities
- Manage a contractor/supplier/vendor/equipment database
- Manage proposal cycles from start to finish, including development of pricing, preparing RFPs and assumptions to ensure successful program implementations, and analysis of bids or proposals
- Coordinate and liaise with external legal team to review contracts/agreements including without limitation concerns with scope, terms, legalities, risks regarding services/agreements, issuance of notifications and other documentation
- Negotiate best pricing/product/terms for pricing agreements for the properties currently being leased and future leasing opportunities
- Assist in departmental budget preparation and tracking related to all contractual services
- Maintain a computer database for the contract management system, invoicing, property locations
- Develop analytical reporting for cost controls and discovery of savings opportunities

**Skills and Experience**:

- 10+ years of professional experience in a similar property/procurement management role required
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration or related field preferred
- Understanding of basic principles of contract law required
- Experience in retail, real estate/facilities preferred
- Understanding of basic accounting principles required
- Experience with financial systems is advantageous
- Highly proficient in MS Excel and Google platforms
