Trade and Investment Queensland (TIQ) was established on 1 February 2014 and is a statutory body governed by a Board under the Trade and Investment Queensland Act 2013. TIQ's broad function under the Act is to facilitate, encourage, promote, identify, attract and develop trade and investment opportunities.As Queensland enters the golden decade leading up to the 2032 Olympics, TIQ has an exciting role to play, with an ambitious agenda designed to leverage global opportunities, attract new investments to help drive economy growth and job creation, while championing global success.To be successful in this role you will:

- Research, analyse and interpret issues and trends relevant to business and skilled migration
- Assist with implementing projects and activities in line with TIQ's business priorities, targets and performance indicators for business and skilled migration.
- Assist with the coordination, planning and delivery of MQ events and functions.
- Ensure records and communication is captured in the MQ's Client Relationship Management system (CRM).
- Identify, develop, and sustain stakeholder relationships with government agencies, MQ clients and client representative groups.
- Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with all TIQ colleagues including those who work overseas and are in different time zones.

- Experience in providing quality and timely administrative support on assessments, projects and activities.
- Understanding and experience in managing or assisting in implementing projects.
- Possesses strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage ambiguity and implement change in a client facing environment.
- Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills.

While there are no mandatory qualifications for this role, knowledge and experience using the Microsoft Office suite of programs (Excel, Word and Outlook) are required.

To be appointed to a position, you must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (a certificate as evidence of your vaccinations must be provided).
