**Technical Specialist**

The Aon Technical Team is a group of insurance product experts who provide hands-on technical support to all client segments and Aon Service Partners, across all general insurance product lines. This is a very broad brief and demand for technical assistance is consistently high.

This position sits within a team of dedicated insurance technicians, who work closely together ensuring first class support to Aon staff and clients.

**What the day will look like**

The work includes but is not limited to the following tasks:

- Comparison of insurance products.
- Drafting endorsements for insurance products, with specific focus on Aon’s own policies.
- Assisting with the development and drafting of insurance product policy wordings, with specific focus on Aon’s own policies.
- Providing “one-off” technical advice on policy interpretation, particularly with respect to policy coverage.
- Reviewing clients’ and prospective clients’ insurance policy wordings to ensure their efficacy and to ensure they meet current market standard.
- Contribution to the development of internal communications on insurance product developments and other topical insurance issues will also be required
- Contribution to Marketing Reviews

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Disciplined and organised and has the ability to manage time effectively and manage competing priorities.
- Holds oneself and others accountable for timely completion of compliance training, time recording, and other mandatory compliance activities required by the business.
- Personally embraces and supports change initiatives/efforts.
- A knowledge of General Insurance and Qualifications in Law is desirable.
