A fantastic opportunity at nbn, Australia’s largest infrastructure project, as the Technical Compliance Specialist reporting to the Technical and Compliance Manager where you will join the Field Services, Operations Business Unit.
A bit about your role
As the Technical & Compliance Specialist, you will provide technical expertise and support to nbn field teams to ensure we deliver quality customer experience in the performance of the networks and in service delivery.
This role will be a focal point in supporting nbn field workforces with network upgrades, in depth technical investigations, the resolution of escalations and complaints across the region, working with key stakeholders within Network Management, Tier I,II & III, customer (RSP), and a range of technical support teams ensuring effective, efficient delivery within defined timeframes and ensuring a great customer experience.
A bit about you
This is a highly technical role so you must be confident working across all elements of the network and nbn technology. Extensive experience in active/passive access network technologies within FTTP, FTTN, FTTC and NBN core network aggregation are essential.
You have strong technical knowledge, experience and understanding and have the experience in providing technical training that you can deliver to nbn’s internal workforce team and delivery partners across a range of nbn technologies, both in field & classroom/lab environments.
You will be able to work with autonomy to problem-solve highly technical queries and be an escalation point for various stakeholder groups. You have strong interpersonal skills and will need to be comfortable working in an ever-changing environment. This role is an opportunity to showcase your technical mentoring capability, fault resolution skills and technical leadership across a wide range of areas, as well as providing you an opportunity to enhance your technical knowledge of various aspects of nbn’s network.
