George Street Eye Centre is looking for a full-time medical receptionist/admin to join our friendly and professional team.

George Street Eye Centre is a well-established, and the pioneering Ophthalmic Clinic under SMS Healthcare (one of the largest providers of its kind in Australia). It is a growing private practice, equipped with its own state of the art Laser Suite in the heart of Sydney's CBD, committed to delivering high quality service in patient care. We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated and customer-oriented Medical Receptionist/Admin to join our friendly and professional team on a Full Time basis.

The role will support our Ophthalmologists across a wide spectrum of subspecialties and our vibrant team of Orthoptists & Optometrists.

**About the role**:
You will be responsible for general administration including, but not limited to: greeting patients, billings, processing Medicare/Health Fund claims, surgical bookings, managing incoming calls, online inquiries, maintaining patient records and managing incoming and outgoing mail.

**About you**:
Two years' experience as medical receptionist.

The successful applicant will be well-presented, enthusiastic and reliable, have a strong work ethic and the ability to function as part of a team dedicated to delivering a high level of patient care.

It is essential that the applicant has strong attention to detail, is able to multitask and to work efficiently under pressure.

Experience with Genie would be preferred.

Competitive remuneration commensurate to experience.
