**Your new role**
As part of Line 2 Risk and Compliance function, working closely with the Head of Compliance to manage and maintain the Bank’s Compliance Framework and Program.
- Assisting with the implementation and maintenance of the Compliance Plan to ensure that the Bank’s systems, policies and procedures meet regulatory obligations.
- Providing compliance support to Business Units
- Ensure Compliance with APRA Prudential Standards and all applicable policies and regulations
- Updating policies and procedures
- Compliance reporting that goes to the risk committee
- Deliver timely and effective reporting on the Compliance Program including breaches and incidents
- Monitor and implement changes to the regulatory environment and notify Business Units of relevant changes
- Maintain breach register and advise Business Units on breaches reportable to Regulators
- Compliance obligations and mapping
- Delivering training

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Tertiary qualification in law or a relevant discipline would be desirable but not essential
- 5 + years Compliance experience from a bank or financial services company
- Solid understanding of risk and compliance principles and frameworks
- Ability to work in a small close knit team and take on responsibility
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and strong communication skills
