ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Team Lead, the Risk Compliance Auditor is responsible for ensuring compliance across the prison with all business units as dictated by current Operational Instructions, policies, procedures and relevant quality systems. This is a hands-on role working inside the prison to complete operational audits and other compliance duties.
To be a success in this role, it is essential that you are a dynamic and engaging individual who shares our ethics and values and has a true passion for making a difference to the communities in which we live.
RESPONSIBILITIES
**The core responsibilities of this role are to**:
- Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures by examining records, reports, operating practices, and documentation.
- Recommend changes to the internal Audit schedule to reflect risk status and changing management priorities.
- Completes audit reports by documenting audit assessments and findings.
- Carry out other tasks as directed by the Team Lead and Quality, Risk & Compliance Manager.
**The essential requirements from you**:
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Quality Assurance processes.
- Demonstrated auditing experience or willing to learn.
- Excellent report writing and written communication skills.
- Strong resilient nature to deliver constructive support on a daily basis.
