As the VRB Team Leader you will be responsible for providing a Senior Management presence within the Sydney registry to support members conducting hearings and registry staff; while concurrently supporting the VRB’s ICT Business Manager.

The Team Leader will also support the Deputy Registrar in managing the staff in Client Service teams, based in the SE and NWSA Registries and provide training, including ICT support. The Team Leader will be part of the management team to ensure business continuity and improvements in accordance with the Board’s Business Plan.

**Duties**
- Develop and maintain an advanced working knowledge of the practices and procedures and contribute to continuous improvement of registry processes.
- Support the Deputy Registrar to manage the day to day allocation and monitoring of work and assist with implementation of changes to registry processes and procedures.
- Support Registry in achieving ICT delivery goals including:

- Assist with the IT on boarding of new Members and staff
- Assist with the development of Business and IT related training material for the Board
- Manage a small caseload as directed by Deputy Registrar, which may include more complex matters.
- Respond to enquiries from applicants, parties, their representatives, members of the public about VRB processes and practices.
- Assist and facilitate on-the-job training of Client Service Officers.
- Assist with conducting QA of work performed by Client Service Officers and identify training needs.
- Support VRB Members as a part of the leadership team, in location in the SE Registry.

A merit pool will be established that may be used to fill similar positions (ongoing and non-ongoing) within the next 18 months.
