**Team Leader**

We are a supermarket business that operates in the Western Sydney region and are looking for an experienced and exceptional Team Leader to join our team on a Full-Time basis. The positions reports directly to the Director.

We have 4 retail stores around Sydney that specialises in Indian/ Sri Lankan and Asian produce & goods that are enjoyed by all. As our business is continuously growing, we are seeking a self-driven Team Leader who can oversee the functions of the customer service teams by providing excellent guidance and instruction to the team.
- **Role and Responsibility**_
- Enthusiastically lead a customer service team
- Oversee the day to day activities of the customer service team
- Assist in the training and induction of new team members, and support the coaching and development of the existing team
- Reviewing performance within the Customer Service team, monitoring through regular reviews and appraisals
- Ensure that all functions relating to the aisle, counter and checkout activities are consistent with the highest standard
- Ensuring back of store and storerooms are always clean and tidy
- To be responsible for the accurate keeping of all necessary due diligence
- To ensure the correct stock levels are maintained and wastage is recorded
- Oversee the rostering of shifts for team members.
- Maintain the highest level of Health & Safety protocols and procedures and ensuring the safety of all staff and customers
- **Essential Skills and Qualifications**_
- At least 1 year continuous retail/hospitality experience in a similar role
- Exceptional Customer Service Skills and a Can-Do attitude
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and leadership skills
- **Desirable**_
- Passionate about Indian and Asian produce
- Be passionate about customer service within the retail industry
- Experience in sales forecasting, budgeting and rostering

**Salary**: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Sydney NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Retail Store Managers: 1 year (preferred)
- Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
