**Your role**
- Are you inquisitive with analytical and risk-aware mindset? Do you have a F2B controls background?
- We’re looking for an Integrated Middle Office Specialist to:
- be responsible for a suite of controls, facilitating support aimed at capturing all risk events within a short time frame; i.e. Option expiry and Corporate Action events
- ensure T0 trade data integrity (completeness, accuracy and timeliness)
- facilitate the production and sign-off of an accurate T0 P&L and T+1 reconciliation with the actual P&L, in partnership with Finance
- perform front-to-back reconciliations and manage lifecycle management related processes, monitoring and improving transaction flow
- make sure that trade booking practices adhere to predefined models, acting as gateway into the front-to-back infrastructure and maintaining static data maintenance
- investigate and respond to risk, P&L, settlements, confirmations, legal and IT queries

**Your team**
- You’ll be working in the Global Equity Derivatives (GED) Middle Office team in Sydney, Australia. We provide in house training and guidance to achieve success in your role. As a GED Middle Office Specialist, you’ll play an important role in conducting the day to day responsibilities as well as maintaining a high level of service to our internal and external stakeholders.

**Your expertise**
- ideally 2 - 3 years of experience in a similar operational risk and control function, financial services background is preferred.
- derivative experience an advantage but not essential
- quality driven with excellent attention to detail
- good interpersonal and communication skills
- strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise logical, reasonable, and realistic judgement.

strong risk mindset, fostering a zero-tolerance policy for poor integrity and risk taking
- escalation awareness is critical to this role
- on top of industry and market driven initiatives to understand risks and impacts
- good partner, collaborator across functions to deliver strategic projects and change
