**About the role**

We are looking to recruit a professional trainer and assessor to be a part of our Academic Team. As a trainer and assessor, you will be delivering and assessing the units for Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery, Diploma of Hospitality Management & Advance Diploma of Hospitality Management course under the VET Quality Framework.
**Tasks & responsibilities**
- Design, deliver, and assess units of competency that sets a high standard as per organisation policy and procedure.
- Familiarise and contribute to reviewing of training and assessment strategy for the qualification that is being delivered.
- Mentor and support students in their academic activities.
- Participate in industry consultation, moderation, staff and validation meetings.
- Maintain currency in relevant fields as per ASQA requirements.

**Qualifications & experience**
- Applicants must have experience in training and assessment and should hold current industry skills and comprehension.
- Should hold Certificate IV in training and assessment (TAE40116) or relevant degree.
- Should have industry experience and relevant qualifications in commercial cookery & hospitality.
- Excellent interpersonal, and communication skills and ability to work without direct supervision.
