Social Media Manager

Are you someone who knows how to tell a story, craft aligned content and genuinely create connection with people on the other side of the screen? Our brand-new burger shop in Wollongong, born from a family legacy of creating incredible food establishments over the years, is searching for a creative Social Media Manager.

We're not just another burger spot; we've poured passion into every detail, crafting an experience that feels, _almost_, nostalgic -- think rich textures, warm lighting, and your favourite 60s or 70s playlist on repeat. If you're passionate about building a spirited brand from the ground up and know how to tell a story on social media, we want you on our team

This is a four-day per week role on a 6-month contract, with the strong likelihood of becoming permanent and huge potential for growth, offering the flexibility of mostly remote work with the occasional drop in to the shop.

**What We're Looking For**:
We need someone with a strategic mind and creative touch, that lives and breathes social media. You should have:

- 3+ years of dedicated social media marketing experience.
- The ability to work autonomously and confidently drive initiatives, while also being able to work collaboratively with the team.
- An exceptionally creative and innovative approach to content strategy.
- A genuine passion for growing brands and connecting with communities online.
- A deep understanding of marketing and communications, preferably in the food and lifestyle space.
- You're a social media native, instinctively understanding platforms, ads and trends.

**Your Role in Our Story**:
As our Social Media Manager, you'll play a crucial part in moulding our voice and story on digital platforms while engaging a community. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Ideating, crafting, and executing compelling content and campaigns - both paid and organic - that capture our unique narrative and align closely with our brand strategy.
- Actively moderating, managing, and engaging with our online community, fostering a loyal following and genuine connections.
- Reporting on social media performance data to refine strategies, ensuring continuous improvement and impact.

**What You'll Bring to the Table**:
Beyond your passion, here are the essential skills we need on the team:

- Expert-level proficiency with Meta platforms, including Ads Manager and Business Suite.
- Highly experienced on TikTok, including Ads Manager.
- Exceptional copywriting skills that are not only creative but drive connection.
- Proficiency in video editing of b-roll footage to create aligned content.
- Strong graphic design abilities to maintain our distinctive brand identity.
- Ability to report and interpret data and analytics to inform decisions.
- Highly organised and ability to create an efficient workflow.
- A friendly, proactive, and confident communicator who thrives in a remote environment and can solve problems with a positive attitude.
