Compliance Officer

**Description**

Do you have compliance experience, and are you seeking a new full-time job in Melbourne? Apex Group is looking for a Compliance Officer ideally based in Melbourne, but also open to consider if you are in Brisbane.

As a Compliance Officer, you will be a trusted adviser and support the company's Compliance function in Melbourne and Brisbane. You will also direct and coordinate the regulatory update in the APAC region, keeping abreast of compliance and regulatory changes and advising as appropriate.

To give you an idea of how this role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:

- Be a trusted adviser and support the Compliance function in Melbourne and Brisbane
- Lead and coordinate the regulatory update in the APAC region
- Keep abreast of the compliance and regulatory changes and advise as appropriate
- Support other Asia Pacific countries, including China, Hong Kong, India, Japan and Singapore, as appropriate on other compliance matters
- Advise on compliance issues relating to AML, KYC, FATCA, CRS etc
- Other compliance-related requirements, AML due diligence, PEP.
- Professional Compliance qualification
- Excellent people management skills at all levels
- Excellent PC skills, including Word, Excel, and Access.
