**Description**:
Are you a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a knack for building rapport and recovering outstanding accounts? We’re looking for a dedicated **Collections Officer** to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you'll play a key part in maintaining the financial health of our organisation by managing overdue accounts, negotiating payment solutions, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This is a full-time hybrid role based in our Brisbane office 3 days a week.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Account Management**: Monitor and maintain a portfolio of overdue accounts ensuring consistent follow-up and resolution of outstanding debts.
- **Negotiation**: Work with customers to negotiate payment plans and settlement term, ensuring mutually agreeable solutions that protect the company’s interests.
- **Dispute Resolution**: Investigate and resolve discrepancies or disputes regards invoices, ensuring accurate account reconciliation.
- **Compliance**: Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to debt collection procedures.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with other team members, customer service departments to establish locate
- **Customer Service**: Provide excellent service to customers while maintaining professionalism and adhering to the company’s policies and procedures.

**Skills, Knowledge & Expertise**:

- **Experience**: Proven experience in collections, credit control, and customer services.
- **Communication**:Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.
- **Problem-Solving**:Ability to assess situations and make informed decisions to resolve collection issues.
- **Attention to Detail**:Strong attention to detail with an ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines efficiently.
- **Negotiation Skills**:Skilled in negotiating and persuading clients to settle debts in a timely manner.
- **Office Skills**: Moderate Excel Skills, experience in NetSuite is preferred but not critical.
