**About the role**:
Your career at NAB is about more than money, it's about serving our customers well and helping our communities prosper. We currently have an opportunity for an Analytics Consultant in a newly created Customer Identification Remediation (CIR) Analytics team.
You are an experienced hands-on analytics specialist that enjoys working with raw data to solve complex problems and providing insights to various stakeholders.
You will be part of a team that make an impact everyday by improving workflow efficiencies and enabling data-driven business decisions.
**You will be responsible for**:
- Understanding the priority and criticality of required tasks to meet the Bank’s obligations Orchestrating the data flows and delivering the analytical tasks effectively
- Highlighting potential technology process and system changes to obtain and process data
- Managing and interacting with multiple stakeholders
- Providing input from a data perspective into the profiling, sequencing, and prioritisation of cohorts of customers for remediation
- Developing and maintaining important documentation that describes the approaches taken
- Coordinating analytical output of the team to socialise with product owners and squad members, foster and maintain strong relationships with these stakeholders
- Drafting and maintaining documentation (data requirements, analytics strategies, remediation strategies and technical documentation)
- Confidently working with technical teams to understand timing and delivery of data
- Communicating technical details in simple language to key stakeholders
- Proactively in finding solutions and working with ambiguity
**What you will bring**
- 3+ years of business analysis experience in a technology and data domain
- Strong proficiency in SQL / Python
- Experience working within cloud (AWS) environment (S3 / Redshift / Snowflake)
- Requirements gathering and prioritisation particularly in data/technology
- Knowledge of core data principles such as Data Analysis, Engineering and Visualisation
- Knowledge of typical data sourcing / ETL requirement gathering, planning, risks, issues, and the presentation, communication, and treatment of these
- Knowledge of Agile Project Management including typical ceremonies and tools is highly regarded
- Knowledge of Banking regulatory and compliance requirements preferred (e.g. KYC, CDD)
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Negotiation with operational tech teams and other program stakeholders based on priorities and constraints
