**About the role**:
As a **Consultant, Analytics and Insights**, you will be someone who is curious and loves working with data, has strong data mining experience to identify new and emerging patterns/trends who is able to analyse and/or visualise this in an effective and intuitive presentation with actionable insights.

This role leads the full cycle of initiative requirements to support the delivery of analytics and insights reporting and dashboards for business units by shaping and defining how the initiative objectives will be achieved through an agile/iterative process.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Partner with Business Stakeholders to understand use case requirements and to help identify opportunities to deliver business value.
- Translating business requirements into functional specification documentation ready for use by the Legacy Transformation and Data Engineering teams
- Development relevant documentation including initiative scope, shaping estimates, data mapping, plans, status update, backlogs and risk/issue as required
- Working on a range of different data sets, manipulating data to make it consumable with potential effective visualisation of actionable insights, pre-empting questions that deliver insights
- Identify and document business metrics, working to standardise data sources and definitions
- Collaborate with data engineers and input into the build of data assets that supports successful dashboard visualisation for target state solution

**What you’ll bring**:

- Advanced data analytics and visualisation experience via tools like Power BI and Tableau
- Strong working knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, Python, SAS
- Strong data mining experience and Big Data mindset
- Strong ability to understand use-case requirements / value statements and translate them into clearly articulated data requirements
- Proven experience as a business analyst in complex business settings
- Clear experience of Agile behaviours, principles, tools, and techniques
- Proven Scrum Master and Business Analyst experience
- Excellent and pro-active approach to problem solving
- Strong analytical capability, with close attention to detail
- Team player and proven ability to collaborate and achieve effective outcomes
- Familiar with Agile principles, techniques, and tools such as Rally
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline
