**Your new role**

This 6 Month contract is a key support role in the Insurance Claims team by efficiently meeting the teams service deliverables through the delivery of a remediation program. This role is to lead the remediation of a death claims portfolio along with representing the Insurance Claims team as a key contact for internal and external stakeholders to liaise with on these remediation matters.

Key duties include but are not limited to:

- Lead a team to remediate a death claims portfolio.
- Support the team in responding to internal and external insurance claim queries and complaints so that insurance claims matters are processed efficiently.
- Assist with case management of a death claims portfolio to payment and closure.
- Provide reporting and updates on the remediation and present to management when required.
- Represent the Insurance Claims team at various committee meetings in relation to the remediation (as required).
- Support the team in training and coaching new staff.
- Use data to identify risks, issues, and opportunities, and present this information in a concise, meaningful way.
- Influence stakeholders to assist with decision making through insights and to mitigate risks.

**What you’ll need**
- At least three years' experience in an administrative role, or in a related role.
- At least three years’ experience in superannuation insurance preferably group claims
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to proofread, spelling& English grammar skills essential.
- Well-developed sense of initiative.
- Critical thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work diligently, efficiently, and with accuracy paying close attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage the range of tasks required of this position.
- An excellent working knowledge of/experience with Microsoft Word,Microsoft Excel &Microsoft Outlook.
