Our client is an innovative manufacturing leader in their field and they see their people as their most important asset. To support the next phase of their growth, they have created a new, dedicated Human Resources Manager position.
Reporting directly to a personable and inspiring CEO, the role will be accountable for all people and culture matters, including:
- Workforce planning;
- Recruitment and selection;
- Ensuring an optimal employee experience:
- Development and implementation of a new onboarding and induction program;
- Performance management;
- Learning and development
- Policy and procedures;
- Employee and industrial relations, including EA negotiations;
- Organisational culture;
- Coaching, SME and consulting to CEO and leaders throughout the organisation;
- Board reporting and interactions;
- Remuneration and benefits;
- HR Reporting, budgeting and analysis.
Success in this role will come through your strong focus on internal relationships. As someone who genuinely cares about people and ensuring a safe, healthy workplace, you will enjoy connecting and collaborating with the team on the shop floor through to the Board, being seen as an approachable counsel. As this position manages 1 HR Admin, you have a proven ability to work in a hands-on role, being flexible to adapt from high level strategic to highly operational tasks with ease. Experience negotiating EAs is essential, leveraging strong communication, analytical and influencing skills. Manufacturing experience is ideal.
