**Eurofins Agro Testing** is an accredited Agricultural testing laboratory that specialises in Soil, Plant and Water testing with laboratories located in Hindmarsh South Australia, Belmont Western Australia and Burleigh Heads Queensland. Our client base includes farmers, agronomists, rural retailers and research organisations with our samples originating from all across Australia.

As a Sample Preparation Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring all samples are appropriately receipted, sorted, prepared, packed and sent for analysis in a timely manner to achieve operational, customer and quality requirements.

This autonomous role will focus on:

- Receipting samples from walk-ins
- Checking the PO Box for sample deliveries
- Ensuring client details and test requirements are correct
- Drying samples in ovens
- Grinding of soils & plant samples as required
- Adequately packing and organising courier pickups using an online portal
- Ensuring the courier deadlines are met
- Working in the fast-paced sample receipt and preparation area
- Ensuring samples are completed in a timely manner and correct methods, procedures and work instructions are adhered to

**Qualifications** What we are looking for in individuals to join our team**
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual tasks
- Ability to follow procedures with absolute attention to detail
- Excellent numeracy, written and oral communication skills
- Great organisational skills and ability to multi-task
- Able to be deadline focused

Experience in a commercial sample preparation laboratory would be advantageous but not a requirement to be successful in this role.

Rather, previous experience working in a fast-paced environment (e.g., fast food/hospitality/warehouse) would be highly regarded/beneficial for this role.
