**The Company**
Our client specialises in the manufacture and distribution of medical therapeutic products and are now entering a stage of significant growth. The company is well capitalised, has a young and ambitious team and is currently embarking on rolling out a plan that will establish itself as a leader across Australia. The company, which has scaled significantly in the last 2 years, is looking for a Quality Control Officer with exceptional attention to detail to join the team.

**The Role**
Reporting into the Quality Assurance Manager, this role will be involved in the implementation of quality control measures at the Gold Coast Distribution Centre. As the company grows to meet increasing demands, procedures need to be standardised and monitored to ensure compliance and quality is maintained.

This Quality Control Officer will also be required to conduct ongoing studying and research to have a working understanding of all relevant legislation, current and proposed SKUs held.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist QA Manager in the implementation and record keeping of the QMS.
- Provide support and technical assistance in product compliance and reporting requirements.
- Assist with the ongoing management of faulty products. Including the enforcement of inbound supply documentation as well as complaints and product quality issues/non-conformance.
- Perform quality control of implemented processes, evaluate performance, and maintain records of non-conformances.
- Assist with internal and external audits, including preparation and post reporting and implementations
- Assist with ongoing team training in all aspects of the Quality Management Systems and OH&S policies
- Preparation of relevant reports and ongoing record keeping.

**Skills & Experience**
This role will suit someone who is at the early stages of their career within Quality Control and wants to continue to learn and develop their skills.

Key skills required for this role include:

- Previous experience within a similar position
- Experience within the pharmaceutical, food or FMCG industries is highly desirable
- Tech savvy with the ability to pick up systems and processes quickly
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
