**About the Role**
As the Buyer for New Categories, you will be responsible for expanding the Non Liquor range to complement the
current Jimmy Brings offering which aligns to our customers needs & the Jimmy Brings Strategy. These
categories include Health & Beauty essentials, Snacks, Desserts, Entertaining foods & Ready Made Meals.

You’ll work closely with a number of key internal stakeholders across the business from Operations, Space
Planning & Marketing to bring this new range to life.

Reporting the the Category Manager, you will be responsible for:

- Growing & managing the Non Liquor portfolio with particular focus on new categories.
- You will build and manage new supplier relationships end to end and use your strong knowledge of the FMCG industry and understanding of competitors, brands, consumer & shopper trends to create a customer-centric range.
- Leverage data & insights to understand customer patterns and trends that will drive continuous improvement and sustainable brand growth.
- Act on customer feedback and market research to identify trend and/or market opportunities for new products or services.
- Negotiate and lead commercial conversations for your categories with internal and external stakeholders.
- Partner closely with the Marketing team to deliver the go-to-market strategies.

**About You**
You will bring to the role strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships with strong numerical, analytical and negotiation skills as well as proven experience in retail buying ideally within FMCG or liquor. You will be an engaging people leader with a collaborative working style, be agile in your thinking and adaptable to change.

You will also be able to demonstrate:

- Previous buying, marketing and or commercial experience.
- Strong commercial acumen, including numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong ability to negotiate and influence both internal & external stakeholders.
- Experience in matrix structures where influencing skills at all levels are key to success.
- Highly regarded in FMCG and/or Liquor industry and ecommerce
