Reporting to the Production Manager, as **Powdercoating Team Leader**, you are responsible for the efficient running of the powdercoating line and when the powdercoating line is quiet - assisting with assembly of products, packing and dispatching goods, all within our LEAN and QMS procedures.

**Position Responsibilities**
- Following the powdercoating schedule
- Working with the Supply Manager to adjust the schedule where needed
- Inputting data about the progress of the jobs
- Submitting consumable purchase requests,
- Allocating human resources on day to day processes
- Maintenance and cleanliness of the powdercoating line
- Managing and completing any re-works
- Assembling products
- Packing and dispatching products
- Ensuring your work area is orderly, clean, neat & tidy at all times
- Ensuring you comply with all OH&S responsibilities
- Provide feedback to the production manager as to the status of your workload and completion level.
- Using your initiative to identify and suggest new and improved ways to operate within the factory.
- Escalate issues to management should you be dissatisfied with the results of your feedback.
- Delivery of goods as required
- Willing to learn and operate other sheet metal manufacturing machinery and processes

**Pre-Requisites for Position**
- Powdercoating experience
- Common Sense
- Practical approach to problem solving
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Driver's Licence
- Forklift Licence (preferrable)

Full-Time

Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 7.6 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
