We are looking for a **Team Leader QC Chemistry** to join CSL Behring Quality Control team at Broadmeadows site (Australia) on a full-time permanent basis.

Reporting to the Senior Manager QC, you will be responsible for the operational oversight and directing the Quality Control activities for the respective testing team, provide supervision and guidance to the team (recruit, retain and train and develop the team), set goals and provide clear direction to the team, and maintain the daily work in a compliant and efficient manner.

**The Role**:

- Lead the testing team to deliver test on time
- Responsible for the investigation and management of out of specification test results for appointed QC testing team
- Ensure all testing, training, instrumentation, and procedures are compliant to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
- Train, coach, and mentor staff to work in a compliant & efficient manner
- Maintain proactive continuous improvement culture while identifying operational efficiencies and process improvements
- Participate in site audits as Subject Matter Expertise (SME) for the testing function. Responsible for the preparation, execution, and responses to all external auditors for the testing function and assisting the QC team to prepare, manage and respond to all audit requests and responses

**Your skills and experience**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or in a relevant scientific discipline (Biology, Biochemistry etc.)
- 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or related industry with notable exposure to GMP or in a regulated quality environment
- 3+ years of experience in a leadership or managerial or supervisor position
- Background in Pharmaceutical will be extremely valued
- Expertise in Chemical testing is valued
- Embrace teamwork and collaborate well with others
- Excellent communication skills
