Filling Team Leader

**The Opportunity**

Due to a recent promotion in the team we are looking for a **Team leader (Privigen Filling) **who will support the Production Coordinator to lead activities within the Filling team to aseptically dispense a range of therapeutic plasma products. Oversee the filling operations, inclusive of day to day running, planning and maintaining QMS systems, procedures and policies for:

- Equipment preparation and Aseptic Filling.
- Ensure that all staff are adequately trained.
- Ensure a culture of compliance and continuance improvement. Ensure products are manufactured or activities are performed according to the schedule.

**This will be an afternoon shift role ( 9 day a fortnight (Mon-Fri).**

**Please note this is a full time permanent opportunity.**

**The Role**:

- Conduct activities to meet the filling Schedule to meet Product Release Schedule
- Actively assist trouble shooting of day to day filling related issues.
- Identify and support process development and innovation within the filling area
- Support the manufacturing plant during technology transfer, capacity upgrades, process development, process optimisation and process standardisation
- Ensure staff under your supervision are compliant with company policies, safety standards and good house-keeping practices
- Co-ordinate routine validation and maintenance activities within the Filling Department
- Ensure timely inventory control of materials is in line with production requirements and procedures
- Ensure batch documentation is reviewed within agreed timeline and completed to agreed quality standard
- Ensure staff under your supervision are appropriately trained to conduct their duties in a GMP compliant manner

**To be successful**:

- A tertiary qualification in Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemical/Process, Engineering ,Food Science and Technology or relevant experience is desirable.
- 3+ years’ experience in cGMP manufacturing, within a pharmaceutical production environment
- Technical skills in Manufacturing and Quality processes and systems
- Experience working in a busy dynamic team environment with a range of diverse stakeholders
- Demonstrated understanding of GMP, regulatory requirements and relevant environmental, health and safety requirements
- Ability to o co-ordinate project activities and liaise across functional groups to meet project targets and objectives
