**Role Summary**:
The Credit Support Officer is an exciting opportunity in our Vulnerable Customer team based at our Perth CBD office.

The purpose of the role is to take responsibility for the administration and processing of all customer credit and debt related activities. The main priority of this position is to ensure the timely collection of all outstanding debt and the accurate processing of credit related enquiries.

**Key responsibilities of the role include**:

- Monitor and process cancellation of disconnection and management of reconnection requests as required, including maintaining and managing relationship with Western Power Metering
- Liaise with Synergy representatives, customers and third-party stakeholders to ensure optimum output and results for customers and Synergy.
- Investigate and determine the correct course of action for complex customer queries regarding missing payments and other credit related processes, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Maintain relationships with and provide third party back of house escalation support in a timely manner.
- Manage calls from external; third party organisations regarding customer queries and premise connection status.

- Demonstrated sound communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Technical capability across complex credit management accountabilities.
- Sound understanding of relevant code and policy requirements.
