About the Role
- Assess client borrowing capacity and loan options, ensuring the most suitable lender and product are sourced.
- Prepare, lodge, and manage loan applications, liaising with lenders to achieve approvals within required timelines.
- Gather and verify supporting documents from clients, ensuring files are accurate, compliant, and up to date.
- Order and manage property valuations, including disputing low valuations where required.
- Communicate regularly with Finance Specialists, clients, and other stakeholders (lenders, conveyancers, solicitors) on application progress and status.
- Support settlements and post-settlement processes, including mortgage documents, funding sheets, compliance checks, and client follow-up.
About You
- You're analytical and detail-oriented, with a strong eye for accuracy and a knack for problem-solving.
- You're organised and efficient, able to manage multiple applications at once while keeping everything on schedule.
- You're motivated by achievement, taking pride in hitting KPIs such as lodgement speed, approval rates, and settlement outcomes.
Selection Criteria
- Proven experience in credit, mortgage broking, or banking, with a strong understanding of credit assessment, loan processes, and compliance.
