About the RACGP
The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) is the voice of general practitioners (GPs) in our growing cities and throughout rural and remote Australia. We foster the future of general practice through our profession-led, community-based training model for the Australian General Practice Training Program and other training pathways. We train GPs to deliver quality, whole-person care to patients across Australia, support their ongoing professional development and provide a point of connection for GPs serving communities in every corner of the country.
About you
As our Operations Manager for Fellowship Support Program (FSP) and Practice Experience Program (PEP) Specialist, you will bring outstanding leadership skills and a strong passion for service excellence. With your vision and drive, you’ll oversee the effective delivery of RACGP’s FSP, PEP Specialist, and Post Education, ensuring a member-focused approach. To thrive in this role, you’ll have:
a tertiary qualification in relevant discipline.
high level leadership experience in a service delivery function.
extensive knowledge in the health and/or education sector or ability to rapidly acquire extensive knowledge in an industry sector.
high level stakeholder engagement and communication knowledge and skills.
demonstrated ability to evaluate and synthesise complex information into concise and cogent written briefings, reports, papers, and policies.
in depth knowledge and understanding of training programs.
About the opportunity
Reporting to the Head of GP Training Operations, you’ll have a passion for service excellence, working seamlessly with RACGP’s GP Training Leadership to contribute to innovative and budgetary outcomes. Along with your steadfast focus on continuous improvement of operational performance across all states and territories. In addition, you’ll:
oversee all aspects of the PEP and FSP programs, including delivery, budgeting, communications, administrative support, and progression support, while consistently prioritising the needs of program participants
provide accurate and timely program and policy advice to program participants when team members require leadership support.
deliver stakeholder engagement plans through guiding and mentoring training programs teams.
case manage complex program participant relationships and issues through a dedicated concierge service.
build a continuous improvement and quality mindset within the team and identify and implement process improvements focussed on program delivery enhancement.
