Latitude’s Pay strategic business unit (SBU) provides payment and finance solutions to merchants and their customers wanting to purchase goods or services. Latitude provides choice and flexibility to customers all purchase types - small or big.
Reporting to the General Manager - Technology, the Head of Portfolio Services will be the engine that runs our Product Engineering system of work; including investment reporting and tracking, workforce management, BA, change and delivery practice management, as well as facilitating our prioritisation and delivery framework through annual and quarterly planning cycles.
This role will establish BA, Change and Delivery practice management across the product and engineering organisation, ensuring the onboarding, development and management of all humans within their profession have a home team. All resources will be aligned to mission and/or platform teams to form a cross-functional delivery team empowered to deliver mission / platform outcomes for our merchants, consumers and staff.
As a key leadership role within the technology and product engineering organisation, the role will be required to establish, refine, participate and continuously improve our ways of working and delivery framework, from strategy, prioritisation, planning through to execution and transition to operations.

Strategy, Executing and Operating:
- Coordinate multi-year strategic, annual and quarterly planning processes across our product engineering function, including business case submission and approval
- Portfolio Management Reporting, Assurance, Workforce Management, and Delivery Support for Pay BU
- Establish our Pay Change Practice aligned to the Enterprise Change & Delivery Framework
- Establish our Pay Business Analysis practice including setting standards, tooling, and training programs for all pay business analysts
- Monitor, delivery assure, evaluate and report on the health of the Pay BU portfolio ensuring risks and issues are highlighted in a timely manner to maintain positive portfolio performance
- Align and input to the Enterprise Workforce Management Framework, including adhering to the LFS contingent worker rate card, and controls for managing adherence across the organisation
- Input to the relevant Pay annual or bi-annual Workforce vendor contract renewals and onboarding of new vendors
- Facilitate our discovery and delivery system of work, including how work is briefed, prioritised, assessed, shaped and delivered across Pay’s product and engineering function
- Coordinate with the portfolio and governance leader within the enterprise and money technology teams where initiatives are dependent on platforms and missions within their areas
Leadership and Organisation
- Outstanding relationship and influencing skills
- Excellent negotiation, influencing and conflict resolution skills, enabling key issues to be resolved effectively
- A strong background in portfolio management, project management, change and delivery assurance
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communications skills, with the ability to adjust your style to suit all audiences. (including EGM / C Level)
- You help coach and facilitate cross-team collaboration, understand and track dependencies, remove blockers and most importantly, ensure teams are happy, healthy and productive
- Proven skills in leadership and management of professional delivery teams including regular interaction with GM and EGMs working in delivery related activities within a complex environment
- Ability to lead, inspire, influence and engage cross-functional delivery teams in a matrix structure
- Recruit, train, retain and develop people to build terrific team and culture.
Financial
- Manages and meets operational and investment budgets across the Pay Product and Engineering business unit
- Reports on financial performance across BAU and Investment budgets

- 5+ years of experience in running portfolio, governance and/or capability (i.e. BA and Change) teams
- Experience in managing multi-million dollar operational and investment budgets up to $80 million
- Highly developed organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in managing key business and technology vendors
