**The Opportunity**

At Medibank, we value and support career growth and progression. As a result of one of our leaders moving on to a new and exciting role within the organisation, we are looking for a passionate, well rounded Marketing leader to join us as the Head of Private Health Insurance (PHI) Growth.

A key pillar of our growth strategy is to continue to grow the core. The Head of PHI Growth drives the acquisition strategy across PHI, covering our Consumer, Overseas and Corporate portfolios.

It’s a straightforward goal - we want to build our brand and create stickier customers to deliver net growth. To achieve this our Head of PHI partners with a range of great stakeholders (you have the Head of Growth Crew Retention, Head of Financial Products, Channel Owners and key functions) to define an acquisition strategy and roadmap aligned with our goal and key growth opportunity areas.

Day to day, this role would see you:

- Driving performance through innovation and optimisaiton.
- Leveraging our deep insights capability to continually identify and action ways to improve customer experience and performance and inspire new solutions.
- Helping people across the business to better understand performance of key lead and lag indicators, campaigns and channels.
- Taking some time to recharge your batteries and encouraging others to do the same - you might head out for a walking one on one with a team member, go for a lunchtime class at your gym or block out calendar time to attend to your childs school assembly.
- Ensuring that performance and customer insights are well integrated into all acquisition activity.
- Keeping a keen eye on the market and engaging with stakeholders to understand new opportunities.
- Determining well considered strategic priorities and key initiatives and to drive growth.

**What about you?**

This role would be a perfect match for a seasoned, well rounded marketing professional.Significant experience in sales, marketing or commercial performance is key (and previous experience leading cross functional teams in agile ways of work would be a real bonus too). You’ll need to be a pro at pivoting - this is a fast paced environment where priorities can change quickly, so you need to be comfortable adapting to and running with new approaches. An effective storyteller, you will be able to bring together insights from both quantitative and qualitative data in an engaging way.
