**Academic Support Officer**

In this role, as a member of the academic team of the Salisbury College Australia, you will be working closely with Academic Co-ordinator.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Assist in ensuring that the integrity and accuracy of academic records is maintained
- Assist students on course selection, study habits and career selection.
- To manage the effective maintenance of student records, including registration, attendance, progression and grades.Collaborate with faculty to conduct new student workshops.
- Assist in monitoring student attendance, course progress and report to Academic Manager.
- To provide timely and accurate management information as required by the Academic Director.
- Assist Academic Coordinator to create timetables and other relevant work as required.
- To co-ordinate relevant planning meetings relating to timetabling and resource allocation.
- To ensure that the processes and systems are in place to track and record students’ progress.

To be successful in this position, you are required to have:

- Have at least 6 months of experience in customer service
- Experience in administration _would be advantage_
- Recent graduates are welcome
- High fluency in English is compulsory and other languages are highly desirable

Additional requirements
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
- High emotional intelligence, active listening and critical thinking.
- Excellence in administrative task management.
- Capacity to do multi-tasking and prioritize task as per the merit of the request within deadline.
- Experience in WISENET or CANVAS _would be advantage_
- High proficiency in MS Office
- Evidence of ability to show commitment and integrity
- Previous experience of dealing with students who have English as their second language.

**Salary**: $41,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
